Eddie Marine Billet Pull Up Ski Tow?
 

Anyone install a pull up ski tow on their boat? Eddie Marine has one, it's like a mushroom fender cleat only larger. I'm curious how the installation went and how it's holding up? I'm towing a tube of the transom hooks and it works ok but not great. I'm thinking of trying one of these, just looking for some feedback before I spend the money and drill a hole in my boat, thank you.

I'd say stick with the harness for tubing, bigger u bolts and bigger backers, plus the stiffness of the transom. If you're mounting the pop-up hook through cored deck with a big backing plate, you might be fine.... But the thought of a tube submerging and tearing out a ski hook scares me.
