Where are there some good speed shops or auto parts stores at the shore ? A friend of mine just got his house done and wants to do some projects and can't find any good places where you can just walk in and get things like engine gaskets, cams, etc. He lives off Fisher blvd. behing East dover marina near RT .37 . Any of you guys know where to go ? He said the "Car Parts " stores where OK but they closed .

First have your friend try picking up a phone book.
There's several parts stores on RT-37 and South Toms River, Beachwood, Bayville and many more in Brick including speed shops. Don't remember where there's any speed shops in Toms River but I'm sure there's a few.

They gotta have some place to go for all 'dem IROC parts.

Joe - On the way to my house in Forked River, I pass this place on 9 that has a big sign that says "Street Rod Center." I've never seen a street rod there, or much of anything in general, but it may be worth checking out.
Like I said, it's on 9 in Forked River, right across the street from Caffrey's bar. No idea what the name of the place is.

I can honestly say I did own a IROC in 1986. Maroone with gold trim. Hey us Joizy boyz did pretty well picking up women in Seaside Heights in those cars back then.

Goodfella , Your right , back in the day the Iroc got the girls .especialy at the board walk ! I friend of mine had one he was keeping . He said it would be worth something one day. IT had almost 200,000 miles on it !! :eek: He sold it to the neighbors kid for a grand !!:D
