Making the tunnel bigger/deeper isn't it just to handle bigger water conditions?

Should be some what intresteing but I bet they have nothing on Tyson. Tyson has been blue printeing his Skater from the get go for endurance/ breaking record purpose.

Looked up the record. Miami to NY 1998 Genty in 19 hrs and 17 Min. Don't know the miles but if its aprox 1200 miles that's an average speed of 63 MPH. That includes any stopping for fuel. How many gallons of fuel does a twin turbine burn per hour at 1/2 throttle? I got to believe this is well with in reach of 12-15 hrs at 80-90 MPH average. I love the idea of endurance runs !!!!!
