That's strong....wow.
Twin O/B powered cats are looking even better |
what about all the current owners... what are they 30? 40K each...guess those owners are chopped liver
|
Merc has enough of them out there running to see that they are reliable... Our MTI-V 42 demo boat has 265 hours on them...with no issues. This was the first set of 400s that we received, so I'm sure the engines built today are even better.
Just like when Auto manufacturers change warranty programs....it doesn't tie to the buyers that purchased previously. |

I'm a strong believer in being a 3rd year buyer of some new slate anything.....car motors, sled motors, etc, etc. 1st year (sometimes even 2nd year) owners can be plagued with issues. Anyway, doesn't sound like this has happened with this engine. Schweet ! |
what I was getting at is...all too often programs are put in place later to entice new interest...rewards so to speak for new buyers but the ones who stepped up early in the game get left out...best other example is the cell phone providers...or banks programs to entice new customers...but the loyal get left behind....a pet peeve of mine, one of a number

This also sounds like a higher hp model is being released in February
