what boat manufact. is next
Last year Cigarette stepped up top the plate with the 36 Gladiator, which took f-2 by storm via Team Virgin. This year the Donzi 38ZR has been the boat, which manufacture is in the works to compete with these for 2003 race season.

Dragon Powerboats
|
Bayliner:eek: :D

Well I was supposed to keep my mouth shut, (Gordo will kill me) watch for the 27' ft. Bayliner Vortech "ONE VISION" f1-51 "PRODUCTIONLINER". A new quad step w/ a pad, kevlar hull with an intergrated keel.
Gordo is at Lake "X" testing this week. |
Damnit Thrillseeker!!! you weren't supposed to say anything either. How did you know?
|
Skater
Maybe Skater will step up with a V bottom. After all they do make all the fast V-Bottoms anyway. When was the last time one of Reggies winning boats came out of his own factory?

DONZI will not be:eek:
|
i heard Nor-tech is building a 38 for Super-cat light but havent seen anything at the races yet , anyone else heard this.
|
I agree the Donzi will not be, after 2 years of devopment it is quite the boat, and steve simon has put together a great program.
|
I can only hope the DONZI storm intensifies for 2003.
Best of luck to all. Bryan |
Hey Pete,
I will be running our new F2 35 Survivor ( twin stepped ) next season. I am looking forward to some good competition from all the manufactures mentioned. I have pics. posted on my website at www.Panteraboats.com on the 35 section. Regards, JO Pantera Boats:cool: |
Nor-Tech SCL
Steve Page of Hurricane / Hooters fame is building a Super Cat Lite to run NEXT year I heard GARY BALLOUGH of Blondie / Miccouskee / Auto Toy stor is throttling it. The fastest boat in F2 is still the 3 year old Fountain Harwich Block. Skater hasn't built fountains in Several years. Muscle, Znetix, FireWater, and Instigator were all built by Fountain. Skater's V bottom is supposed to Debut at one of the WORLDS.
|
Hey Ryan,
are you doing the graphics on it, i heard about it a long time ago, it was suppose to debut in Savannah, but i guess just taking a little more time being the first one out of the mold. Jo, ive seen a lot of pics of the 35, it looks very nice and if it is anything like the 28 it ought to be awesome... looking forward to next season already. are you going to run it in APBA or SBI or a combo of the 2??? |
Skater IS doing a vee bottom for Baja, so . . . what would that be . . . a Bater  ?
:D |
Don't forget Warlock!
They will be introducing their new 38 World Class this winter. |
I would watch for Pantera, Warlock and Kryptonite next year in F2. Donzi will be strong again next year. I'll put money on that!!!
|
The Harwich Concrete Block / Pier 57 is still running and in second in the points. Looks like it's the SECOND fastest F2 boat!
;) |
Harwich certaily is the fastest... as we know the fastest boat sometimes wins.
Skater Vee is now Skater's own, Baja is out of picture. Joe, Site looks awesome, we look forward to seeing you back next year! We will be introducing a 38 in a few years, doubt they would let it in F2, they have a no wing rule in all of those classes, which, fair or not, is the way it is. Our 28 project just finished changing the interrior over here and wind tunnel tests in Sweeden. http://www.ocke.se/news/new_fredrik.html New version will be ready by spring.
