Cooper tires have been my best luck, With our present 2000 Dodge Cummins, 2001 Ford Excursion Powerstroke, 2001 Duramax xtended cab, and 2002 crew cab Duramax. All 4 of these pull a 10-11k trailer all day long, stop and go, and typically at 20-22k miles the factory tires, which were, Goodyear and Firestone were just about bald. At that point I put on Coopers and get about 32-36k miles beyond that, they are stiffer, come in raised wht letters. On my Myco trailer I insisted to Pat at Thunder that I wanted Discovery HT and my crew cab has Discovery AT, the isde wall handle the load, and the sizes are 285 75-r16 cost me 110 each includes free rotation every 5k and free flat tire service, this has worked for me best.

Coopers are kinda that quiet secret, Ive been using them for many years and just got so damn tired of dishing out $ every 18-20K miles for those Goodyears and Firestones that came on the trucks. If they are good enough Arnold Palmer, they're good enough for me

Wow, I like what I see and have read about Cooper tires too. They also have the size I want, 265/75/16 in an E range. What do you think of the Cooper Discoverer AT? Pardon me for being vain, but I want good looks too. I like the outline while lettering better than the BFG.
