DONZI 43 ZR - "Black Widow" Edition Putting in Work!

Just out for a leisurely stroll off the coast of Sarasota.
(Not the same boat as the infamous 40 foot wave drop)

Cheers!

That looks like fun. But when are people gonna learn that these videos don't need music??!! Still a great video

In my preview the video code looks great. When I post the video gets cut down to in half instead of 16:9 - Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

The issue is you can't capture great sound from the helicopter at 90mph. It's a bunch of wind hiss and heli-props that gets annoying really quick. That's why most aerial videos you see have some sort of background music.

I never thought of that to be honest. Don't get me wrong it's a great vid.

Much better conditions than this boat and this day on the opposite coast:

You made the mistake of putting the video in the first post. The size was cut down to make room for the ad that goes in the first post. Repost it now in one of the later replies and it should work.

It looks better here, not being in the first post with the reserved advertising pixels/real estate.

Ahh. Just quote it. Didn't think of that.

Love that boat. Thanks for sharing

Main difference is the one that hit the wave and cracked up was one of only 3 ever made with triple 700's and the one in the post is twin 700's

Sweet Vid !!

I read somewhere that the guy who busted up the 43 in San Francisco, also had another Donzi that he tore up.

Anyone know if this is true, perhaps both boats with the similar paintjobs were his? Just wondering.

I'm the one who got the cracked up pictures from an employee at the marina that he kept the boat at. He told me that the previous boat he wrecked was a 38 ZR. Not sure what he did to that one though

Nice throttle work.
Right past my house as he went out Big Pass. When Donzi was still in business in Sarasota, they ran that route a lot, testing new boats, and dialing in race boats.
Good entertainment.
