i agree, i also think the best part about this speed gain is it is done through maximizing an efficiency and not through adding power to a possibly already over stressed drive. I like these kind gains, its essentially "free" (but not really free lol)

I took my imco lower over to Wilson. They moved the water intake back and closed it up a bit. The finish is like a stainless refrigerator door. Better handling and a solid 2 mph gain.

Always hearing the question, "how fast is it?" I often wonder if it really matters. If you put 100 experienced boaters in a boat running 90mph vs 95 mph, could they tell the difference? How about 140 vs 143? I don't think that most could tell.
I'd rather know what number you can cruise at where the boat and engine are in its "happy place". The right speed, the right rpm, the right fuel burn, the right ride. All boats have that number. With our Skater 28 I would rather cruise at 85 than 105. I am betting that most of my passengers would have no idea of the speed difference if the number were not posted on the Garmin.
Just my 2 cents, and well overpriced at that!

I’m running a consistent 87 , full of fuel , 2 people. Single engine deep v hull. Here’s a few pics. I have about 100 hours on the wilson finished lower and I am in salt most it the time. Probably 10 or 12 thousand miles towing as well. My boat sits low in the trailer. Hope these help
