What's the navigator do? Video.

People always ask us, "What's the navigator do?". Some with a genuine question as a fan, some with a sarcastic tone talking about the "glory days" of offshore when boats used a navigator to find checkpoints that were miles apart. Well, here's your answer. Watch as Verne French directs Johnny through traffic, lets him know when it's his corner, watches the gauges, counts all 18 laps (short course) and switches the fuel valves. For good measure Verne is also our crew chief, a certified Mercury mastertech, has been around offshore racing since the late 80s, was crew chief for Wits End, and is the undisputed king of Bud Light. Enjoy! |
Cool video, good post !

I liked that, post more when you have more, your posts are either educational or entertaining, this is both! I assume the breakout speed for your class is 85 mph, right? Hovering at 84 mph, smart, I like it.
