Stolen trailer full of outboards
 

Northeast marine had a trailer stolen out of St. Pete last night. Dual axle enclosed trailer with any hp from 250 down. The wheel of the trailer was connected from one trailer to another. They just took the wheel off and left the locked wheel behind. Will post a list of motor sizes soon. If anyone hears of any new motors for sale or anything like that please let me know or call Curtis at Northeast marine.

had a 32 Yellowfin stolen out of Treasure Island last night too.

Unfortunately you hear this story a lot from down there. Where does this stuff end up? Friend of mine had a 25 foot contender stolen out of a fenced in lot in Sarasota about 6 months ago never to be seen again. People suck!

chopped up or sent off to islands usually.

The Yellow fin was in a gated marina with camera's and all. They have the truck (black lifted GMC/Chevy 2500 on big rims) on film but no leads yet. Was stolen at regular hours too, just after dark around 8/9pm.

Thought it was pretty safe around here ,I guess there everywhere [Thief's] , but then again someone stole my jack out of the back of my truck and the doors were unlocked with all my power tools not to long ago here on treasure Island ,,,

Do they target CCs and OB boats or are sterndrives picked on too?

I/O stuff is rarer but it will happen too. Yamaha 4 stroke OB's are the gold standard for thieves!

Welcome to South Florida.... They stole this center console 2 weeks ago about a mile from my house. CAUGHT ON CAMERA but to my knowledge they werent caught!

Boat was tracked to Florida City (Homestead) then the tracking system was clipped and its gone.
