Here is a picture of the # 3 28 Pantera ever built that was displayed at the 1979 Miami Boat show.

This boat was powered with twin 454-330 TRS packages and would run 70 MPH.

This is an ad from our dealer( Sailmotorboating ) in Italy back in the late 70s that would represent our line and would import 15 - 20 Panteras a year thruout Europe.

Many of these boats located in Europe are still running around today.

This is a picture of an article that was done on a 24 footer in a magazine called UOMO MARE VOGUE magazine in 1978 in Italy.

This 24 Pantera was powered with twin 4 cylinder Mercs. 170 HP each and would run 55 MPH.We would do 12-15 yearly with this power to our distributor located in Milan , Italy.

Here are a few more pics from the article.

Check out the swivel sit down seats and teak cabin doors that were very popular at the time.

We still build many of these 24s today.

This is an article that was done in August 1980 in UOMO MARE magazine in Italy on the 4 most popular brands of Hi performance boats imported to Europe at the time from the U.S.

The tests were done on this 28 Pantera with twins, 27 Magnum ,
36 and 41 foot cigarette , and a 38 Scarab.

Here is a pic. of a 1978 24 footer all Kevlar lay up powered with twin 200 Mercs. It was raced up in the North East in the late 70s to the mid 80s.

It was called Mr. MEAN and originally owned by Harold Trieber of North East fiberglass and later sold to the guy in the picture Marty Perlow who later raced a 28 Pantera with triple Mercs. in Production class called High Stepper.

This is a picture of my Father with a full head of hair in 1979 being interviewed for a local TV channel after winning a race overall in Holiday Isle resort in the Florida Keys.

The race would start in Miami and run down to the Florida Keys out in the Ocean. Approximately 100 miles.
