Tres Martin has a stellar track record in the powerboat community for almost 30 years now. Starting at 14 at his fathers Everglades Marina mopping floors to cleaning boats. Tres knows every aspect of the marine business. He is a certified Marine Technician who has built/designed many race boats for many powerboat manufacturers & clients, along with hull design for SUNSATION POWEROATS.
1988 World Champion in "RAZZ" 41' APACHE
1989 World Champion in "LITTLE CAESARS PIZZA" 47' APACHE as the youngest Throttleman to win the Super Boat Class
1993 Tres built "INXS" 47' FOUNTAIN & won 11 out of 13 races on National Circuit clinching the 1993 NATIONAL TITLE in Superboat & again in 1994 in a 45' FOUNTAIN "INXS"
1999 Tres paired up with CIGARETTE for a few races which were done successfully.
2000 - 2001 Tres & Todd Klindworth raced a 38' CIGARETTE "TEAM VIRGIN" / 36' GLADIATOR / 40' MTI CATAMARAN.
Both boats were raced back to back on the same day which labeled Todd and Tres the IRON MEN of OFFSHORE.
2001 Tres & Todd won the NATIONAL & WORLD TITLE.
Both were inducted into the APBA Hall of Fame Champions.
