I am now 69 and got my first boat (built it with the help of my dad) when I was 14, have always had boats since then. Just since 2000 I have had 13 boats, currently have 3.
My wife and friends think I have a problem, but I think I am fine:-))

I admire you guys who've stayed with a boat for a long time, you're boats must be beautiful.
For me, I've already owned my fastest boat, my biggest boat and my smallest boat. My current boat is the longest I've ever owned one, 3 and 1/2 years and been for sale most of that time! (Bad market where I live) I plan my next boat will be under 25' and I'll keep it forever.
I'm over the temptations of amazing boats, still love to look at them in awe but will be happy with something real simple and more akin to what I always wanted when I was a kid. I guess I'll relive my childhood.

Bought mine new in late Fall 2007 and took delivery in Spring of '08. Still looks like it did the day I got it with 405 hrs. on the meter. My 496 still purrs like a kitty!

I bought my 2005 Donzi 22 Classic new. It's nice to be the only owner and know the boat inside and out and that it has been kept indoors since day one. I also have a 1982 Mustang GT that I bought in 1985. Managed to keep it for 31 years!
