I keep my finances pretty quiet near my missus. Occasionally she gets a glimpse of a boat bill and always says the same thing......

I feel bad lying to her when she says that because I'm afraid the boat might overhear me and get upset!

I usually drop a zero if it has to do with my cars or boats. Especially if it's a repair or upgrade!!! . If I buy something for $20,000 I say $2,000. $5,000 is $500. Easy to keep it straight this way. In the case of the new boat, I may from 2 zeros!!!

If you have coin for a 7 fig. Boat she shold be lucky you give her the time of day. ! If I were in that situation and she *****ed, I'd give her the boot and call NEXT one up. I'll probably earn just into the 7 figure range lifetime and live by that basis now.

Your wife is a sniper and a black belt? You better keep her happy, Amen. Name your next boat after her, show her the baot with her name on the transom, while it is not a very masculine thing to do to boat, but for the sake of marital bliss it does provide an excellent excuse, if required, in your next expensive purchase without her consent or permission to tell her you really was thinking of her when you bought hence the name on the transom, "all for you honey"; and her name on transom can always be removed if she does not approve,but the boat will stay.
