Hi Gang,

Thank you for the interest and support! We have been diligently crafting a handful of fine hulls each year since the late 1990s / early 2000s. Starting with the Battle Wagon 12' Muddy Duck & 18' Commercial Skiffs, the way we construct these hulls is really second to none. Because of my performance boating background, ownership, and history, i decided to make a great design even better, with a little Jersey attitude, and finer materials for all my hulls including this amazing little 22'

As you all are probably aware, the Mid-Atlantic waters - Jersey shore can be home to some sporty water conditions. My goal has always been to construct a hull that can withstand the punishment of our harsh waters…ergo the Battle Wagon Boats name. Might want to check out the structure, stringers, and transom photos…these hulls are built!

Please feel free to reach out to me for more info and photos.
Cheers
Christian

Anyway, the 21' Linder designed hull, probably best known for the Challenger 21 and Superboat 21, and probably more than a dozen other knockoffs, is one of, if not the best, performing boat design in the history of performance boating. Period. And thats why it has been copied by everyone and their brother. It runs great in both smooth and rough water, rumors say it can hang with much bigger boats offshore too. I've seen it with every possible engine set up, from basic 200 to twin 200's.

I will say that the Superboat version was bulletproof back in the day. Do your homework.

I did my homework, I know what I am talking about ., I met Linder in 1976 with my father, and met Aronow at Cigarette in 1973 when i was a kid, I am well aware of Challenger, Superboat (John Coen), Pantera, (Pepe and Joe), ect, I have been around, I have first hand experience, next you insult me ? Do you f*cking homework. You have no idea of my level of experience and or knowledge with regards to performance boat, yachts, fishing boats, drives, engines, transmissions, propellers, exhaust systems, boat builders, engines builers, painters, trailers, knowledge offshore racing history.

I am an attorney, so I back up my assertion with evidentiary exhibits of my experience; the Pantera, and the Phantom I am driving, the 16' Donzi (1970) I was 5 years old, the 16' Carlson tunnel boat with a BP Mercury 125 I rode in as a toddler (that was an 81 mph in 1965), yeah I know a little, been there and done, that, and I like and know about 21 Superboat and Challenger boats, and have posted such on OSO for 15 years, I did my homework assignment professor, is it satisfactory? The yellow Magnum, "the Hairy Canary" I drove for 19 years, raced a sh*t load of boats, that is a picture of my father at a Barnegat Bay radar shoot-out from the 1990's. The 18' Donzi when I lived Avalon (bartender and real estate agent) in the summers, of 86. 87, 88 when I was college during summer break. The 15' Boston was a long time Jones family boat, of all thehot-rods, some of the best times on the water where in the 15' Whaler, so I have lots of seat time on the water in a pleaure boat, weekend warrior capacity, and knowledge of the whole industry, I love performance boats more than anything else on the planet.

PS One father's very close friends bhad Linder build him a new 21' Challenger in 76 or 77, it had a Berkley droop-snoot jet, and a 429 cu.in. Cobra Jet, my father had the 20' Cigarette with a 350 cu.in SBC, Volvo 280, the 21' Challenger was faster, but we went boating as group with others who had 18' Donzi's everyweekend, I am well aware of Challeger and Superboat.

Christian Del Collo/Battlewagon Boats is a honest, intelligent, trustworthy person as well as an experienced boat builder, boat racer. I stand by my initial recommendation, I did my f*cking homework. Insult someone else, I am not that guy.

OMG, Dude...Chill. You are absolutely hilarious, I seriously could care less about who you know, what you have owned, and how many times you did your homework. Oh, ****ing Homework! LOL. I made a little comment about the name of the boat company, and you took it as some sort of personal attack and insult?
A little insecure huh?!
I say enjoy your evening, but it sounds like you already went off the deep end!

I interpreted your "do you homework as an insult", when I talk sh*t I back it up, so hence my reaction, now your calling me insecure? Not at all. What I did not see in your recent post was "I am sorry, or I apologize if I insultedyou", you meant to insult me and you did with, "do your homework" statement; and you further insulted me with "off the deep end" and "a little insecure" commentary. I will not tolerate anyone who talks sh*tmto my face/insults me in person, nor will I let someone talk sh*t and or insult me on the internet. I am not a tough guy getting in fist-fights at age 51, nor am I not a violent man, I just don't play games, I don't mince words, I call it like I see it, you have now insulted me again, with the insecure and deep-end comments. I could careless whether you like or dislike the name Battlewagon, but I do care when you tell me to "Do your homework" the exact advice you gave to me as if I am a dumbass, or I have a cognitive disability, or I am so green to the world that I just fell off the back of a turnip truck.

You were about to suggest that I enoy my evening and I am having a very nice night watching Street Outlaws on Discovery, my favoirte show on TV, this issue is dead with you, no further need for replies or discussion, your exact words to me were to "do my homework",that is an insut, I don't know you, not familar with you on OSO, I do have a sense of humor, but ...when and if I go off the deep end, it will be obvious, I am a criminal defense attorney, I just don't playgames when insulted, I have a built in bullsh*t detector. Your response is just more bullsh*t.

On a side note...Phil Vargas is building the original 21 Apache Scout down in Miami as well.

FYI - you do have a cognitive disability. You "interpreted" wrong. I was answering the original post.
So, let's break it down so you can understand.
I made fun of the company name.
I then went on to explain about how successful the Linder design became and that Superboat build a great boat back in the day. And that trying to find one, do his homework. MEANING, there are a lot of builders out there who build knock-off crap.
Then the owner of BattleWagon explained how the name came about... like a gentleman.
First, I shouldn't even be explaining this to a grown adult.
Second, you are expecting me to apologize for YOUR MISINTERPRETATION of a post?
YOU sir, need to take a minute, stop and smell the roses....
