[QUOTE=EvilTwin;4507528]Well here is my knowledge of the 388 hull... I own a 2000 388 with 700's (500's with SC/Inrcooler package). I Put the IMCO SCX's on it and they have been bullet proof (I had the boat 5 minutes and blew a Bravo XR). As far as the speed/handling, I use no tab at all for running up to 85, above 85 it will want to chine walk a little but only on smooth water. If it is choppy or rougher it will just fly nicely with no tab input. So on calm water above 85 I give it a little tab and it handles great. No ill handling affects at all. Running above 95 I will actually take a little tab away and it still runs flat and stable. The only time I have experienced a little instability is 85

Thanks for info. What props and spin in or out? Boxes or shorty lower?

32 5 blade. No boxes and no shorty. I run them spinning out. Have tried spinning in and it definitely loosened the boat up. Never tried hard runs with them turning in but from the RPM's it would be faster.

Black Cloud does not have the conversion ASD, they have the larger drop box Arnesons. have been on the boat over 130mph. The bottom was tweaked.. A lot of threads discussing this and this boat
