Default Two piece valve covers

I am looking to buy new valve covers for my blower motors. I am interested in two-piece valve covers for ease of valve lash adjustments. Any recommendations? Anyone have actual experience with any particular 2-piece valve cover? I understand that some have leak issues. Thanks in advance for any comments.

If you don't want them to leak run a bead of silicone around the top after you install them. Even on the newly designed ones that aren't suppose to leak. Why? They still leak. You can't buy nice stuff anymore.

My Ke's have leaked since day one. I leave a rag in the one corner to contain pia.

Sutphen30 and some others posted pics on how to modify (quite easily) the leaking KE's s bunch of years ago. Should be worth the search.

I'm positive. They leak. Silicone the top around the seam and they don't leak. Is what it is. If you worked with this stuff on a daily basis you would understand. You can't buy anything nice anymore. Quality is a thing of the past.

we could build you a two piece valve cover with a clear top so you can see the rockers to keep an eye on them and diagnose a problem real quick.

^^^ I wondered about this in a recent solid lifter thread . It just doesn't seem it would be that difficult to make a two piece cover that seals.

No personal experience with them, but many complaints on here about leaking issues.
