The comment about Cigarette and Outerlimits hanging on by a shoe string is pretty laughable. Anyone who thinks that doesn't follow performance boats too closely.

A few of us from BTM did a factory tour this week, a redesign will not happen over night. RF3 and his team have a passion for the boats and great ideas. The factory employees a good number of people in Washington.
The 38 Thunder will be a competitor of the luxury style CC - non fish models.
The 38 Sport Fish will get updates, here it's getting a dive door.
The Fountain bottoms are some of the best around even after all these years.
The $700K figure I "threw out there" on a 42 Lightning was with Mercury Racing 1,100 turbo motors - just an example of a retail number.
Hope good things continue to happen, people offer suggestions and embrace some of the changes. The 2017 38 Lighting that was done was as an attempt at a new style interior. People either love it or hate it. Haven't found many in-between.
I can tell you it's a blast to drive with the 565's and handles just like a Fountain!
I'll give 110% everything I can do to help make it work on my end as thousands of others are doing and want to see it happen. I have personally owned a 25, 29 and 33 Baja - which got me into powerboating. Then a 42, 47 and 42 Fountain - I love the boats like many others do.
Lots of great ideas in this thread and everyone on our Team wants to see Fountain/Baja/Donzi continue to build boats. Thanks for all the input and trust me when I say the owner of Donzi/Fountain/Baja wants it to succeed.
