http://waltersengines.com/ They are about the same distance from me as mdg....... |
I bought a cam from Terry that was spec'd by Vizard through his cam program. He was very responsive and easy to work with. Another dyno option would be the Edge Brother Machine shop in Jacksonville, NC.

Is that who did yours Rob?
I was going to just rip them out and put them on a flatbed trailer I have so I can certainly run them to MD weather permitting - would hate it to be raining!! |
Eric, sorry I missed out on seeing your engines dyno'd at Jeff's. I got too tied up with work yesterday. How did you engines do??

Hey Tom - sorry you couldn't make it. Would have been good to catch up..... heard about your new ride sounds like you got a great deal....
I was very happy - 565 @ 5,500. 598 ft/lbs. the other motor was 551, but I hadn't rebuilt the blower on that one. I had told Jeff from the get go I just wanted to chase reliability and I feel I finally have it. Great idle, and great reliability in my cruise range (3,800-4,200). I felt pretty good that the first two motors I've ever built were that close and held together, but i tell you what man I was a nervous wreck the first time he spooled that dyno up. The dyno should have another monitor for owners' blood pressure |
