Louder Exhaust
 

Have twin 496HO's Corsa exhaust with with Captains call, is there a SIMPLE way without replacing it to make them louder?

get rid of the corsa and go dry to the tips.

Tractor pipes can been seen on some race boats and Kevin with the 36 Cig Glad has them to if I recall correctly. See if anyone can pull some pics and post them up here.

It's a real thing then. Tractor pipes or side pipes thought you guys where making me look dumber than normal.

Does the boat have mufflers on it?

I think the tractor pipes (a bit sarcastic perhaps) stick straight up through the engine hatch. This might give you the extra noise you're after........!

The Corsa tips have silencers built in, change to a tip that is straight through and you will increase the volume. Look inside the corsa and you will see what I mean. I had those on my Donzi 22ZX I drilled out the flat plates that are in there which you could do as well if you don't want to buy new tips.

And don't forget to play your music extra loud once you anchor or dock.

I'm impressed with the hold back of opinions here. I'll share mine, don't do anything you can't easily revert back to. Glass packs on an Escalade would be cool for about a block.

CMI makes Tractor headers. They are not tail pipes. Aprox cost is $5K and up as I recall. NOT what you want on a pleasure boat IMO. I agree on just some straight threw tips.

Not to much louder but has a lot nicer rumble to it

That's the cheapest way a few 3&7/8th hole saw bits some cutting oil and a drill . Took me about an hour or two to do all four

Dry tailpipes. Then everyone will ***** at the dock if they have dislike for go fast boats. Also if you have the sound police checking DBs. Only had that happen once by the park ranger.

Nothing better than cruising 80MPH talking to your wife next to you!. Plus how do you feel when you get smoked by a quiet boat. the other bad in loud, every kid wants to race you, especially the old kids

80 mph? Mine will do only 60 but everything I own is loud and opnocious including me. Just want it a bit louder not so loud that it's stupid.

I saw something about that online, does not sound too far off from what I have now. Hitting silent choice will quiten it down some if I need it?
