Default 28 Daytona

I just bought a 1999 28' Eliminator Daytona with a 900 hp blower motor in it with a Bmax drive. I'm not sure of the gear ratio, but I need a basic idea of props that might work well for top end. It came with a 28 bravo.

32 pitch Bravo 1 would be a good place to start.

Didn't read that it came with a Bravo 28 pitch. I wouldn't do anything until you have a chance to run it with it's existing prop. That most likely is a great overall prop for the boat. Maybe call Eliminator and ask what prop style and x-dimension they recommend for maximum top end performance for your boat. That's a fairly heavy boat for a single so be careful not to ruin your planing performance for a few mph on the top. Cool boat though, congrats!

I recently sold my 25' Daytona with 735hp na BBC. It had a standard length lower on it originally with 1.36 gears and we switched to a -2 IMCO and the holeshot was not as good. We ran a 28 bravo and a 30 bravo prop. Hope some of that helps. Congrats on new boat.

The drive is most likely a 1.33, with a 28 bravo at 6000rpm 8% slip would put you at 111mph.
