Shrink wrap for boat's??
I would like to srink wrap my boat for the winter and the only place in town that does it says it cost $12.00 a Foot!!
Do any of you do it yourself?? Where can you buy the stuff to do it?? How much does it cost to get set up?? I remember seeing the service guy's do it at the Marina I worked at during college and it looked pretty simple, just dont get to close with the Heat gun!! They did burn the interior out of one boats!! |
Shrink Wrapping is great because it keeps the elements out. Be sure to have some baking soda (or is it powder????) in the boat a few places.

I do mine every year, plus the kids tree fort and anything else that doesn't move too quickly around the house. The wrap is CHEAP the gun is pricey. When I get home tonight I'll look up my supplier.

FunHome,
I think you can get it at Supreme Marine in Lenexa, talk to Perry he can hook you up! |
Yea, Supreme Marine is who I just called, they were too busy at first to answer me so they had to call me back (Like Always)
When they called back they said it would be around $500.00 ( $10.00 a foot plus materials) That's a little steep for my blood, I would think between a couple of us a Kit would pay for it self pretty quick?? |
Brad
