Default Shrink wrap for boat's??

I would like to srink wrap my boat for the winter and the only place in town that does it says it cost $12.00 a Foot!!

Do any of you do it yourself?? Where can you buy the stuff to do it?? How much does it cost to get set up??

I remember seeing the service guy's do it at the Marina I worked at during college and it looked pretty simple, just dont get to close with the Heat gun!! They did burn the interior out of one boats!!

Shrink Wrapping is great because it keeps the elements out. Be sure to have some baking soda (or is it powder????) in the boat a few places.

I do mine every year, plus the kids tree fort and anything else that doesn't move too quickly around the house. The wrap is CHEAP the gun is pricey. When I get home tonight I'll look up my supplier.

Yea, Supreme Marine is who I just called, they were too busy at first to answer me so they had to call me back (Like Always)

When they called back they said it would be around $500.00 ( $10.00 a foot plus materials)

That's a little steep for my blood, I would think between a couple of us a Kit would pay for it self pretty quick??
