MTI in boat house next to mine blew blades off of 3 Herring 5 blade props this summer. They all tore off from back to front and beat the chit out of the cavitation plate. One prop is left. Herring did replace them but didn't want to know about the drive damage.

He switched to Hydomotive Q-5's and so far so good. BTW herrings lasted max 5 hrs. They said they are going to start heat treating the props, like hydromotive does.
