Comparison between Nortech 39 CC and Cigarette 39 GTS
Ride, handling, speed, etc?
|
I've read the cigarette with triple 350's is about a 75 mph boat, seems about equivalent to the nortech doing 83 with 3- 400s
|
The speeds sound about right. My 39GTS with trip 300's is 70-71. I haven't ridden in a Nortech, but I love my Cig.
|
How does the boat ride in rough water? Ands is there any lay down area under the console?

Take a look at the 39 Concept - did a sea trial on one yesterday with a client. Excellent fit and finish, great ride. Was seriously one of the nicest center console boats I have been on.

The Nortech has a much better layout, ergonomics, and storage, the cig your paying for the name. |
At the shootout there were alot of nortech and cig cc's running around... the amg cig with 1100s rode the flatest in the rough I thought. Most of the nortechs seemed to slap more than the cigs (could have been operator) but they both look amazing. The mti v I thought slapped alot as well? Observations from watching them all run by.
Edit - that concept looks sharp. price? |
