My story is straight. Who did you think of when I said cigarette and Apache. You knew exactly who I was talking about. So I think my story is straight. I didnt need to mention names. When you say cigarette thats Arnows boat ,every one knows that. He built the molds for Donzi, Magnum, Formula, And Apache. The 24,28,36,39,41,47. All of those built in the 70s are the same molds apache used for their boats. And what does Apache build now 28,36,41,47. Cigarette molds. Or for you steve 1 Arnow's molds. Of course Apache handles rough water great it was designed by Arnow. Who cares who owns them, its the Desighner of the mold that really makes a boat. Yeah Cigarette had been sold many times but their molds have been used in many boats. If my information source is wrong please let me know.

Tom McCann - No big deal, but Aronow had nothing to do with Cigarette when Bobby purchased the 41 molds, he was operating as USA at the time, but I am sure he used a little of his "past" experience when building it. The 28 and 36 were done "exclusively" by Bobby in his shop on 188th. Then Baja "popped" the 28 Apache to build the 302.

I may be wrong, but I think Craig Barrie and crew built our 94 Cig and we LOVE IT, I'll take that history anyday.
Skip Braver had a 42 Fountain, spent alot of time on our boat with the previous owner, bought a Tiger and then bought the company.
People must like Cigarette or the 600th Top Gun wouldn't have been recently built. And in this economy no less.
All these companies have a checkered past look at the $$$ that built Apache and where it came from?
For the record, we looked at 36's and 41's and bought a 38 Cig. The cabin, cockpit and dash layouts are much better in my opinion.
Another big factor was how long it would take to move one when it came time to sell.
