Just found out the "1000's" that got thrown into the deal are really just long blocks. So, that makes it an ever further stretch to get into a pair of 700SCI's.

He tried to sell me on that swap, but I sell everything I own within a couple years, so want to stay with the Merc 700's...

When we built the #21 Skater Supercat we wanted 4 drives, 4 gimbals and it was more cost effective to order them as complete packages (with motors) from Mercury. So we ordered them with 700's. Kicked around re powering a few boats but ended up selling all 4 engines.
