Thats probably a good plan if you don't travel like I do.

Considering I travel, this is my plan.

1200 minutes peak
3500 anytime
free long distance
free roaming

I'm sure theirs better deals, but this fits me fine for now!

JUST BE SURE TO GET A DUAL OR TRI-BAND PHONE OR DON'T BUY IT ITS THE WAY EVERYONE ON OF THE CARRIERS LIKE VERISON ,ALLTEL,ATT,ARE GOING DIGITIAL AND THEY USE DIFFERENT FORMATS SO IF YOU BUY A CHEAP SINGLE OR THE WRONG FORMAT PHONE AND YOU ROAM IT WON'T WORK !! OR YOU'LL DROP ALOT OF CALLS ECT.

ALSO MOTOROLA IS THE PHONE TO BUY AS 99% OF ALL CARRIERS IN THE US AND ABROAD USE THEIR TRANSMITERS AND SWITCHS
TO TAlk through ,they do have and inside track !!!!:D :D

bobby- We have not used motorola base station equiptment or switches in a long time. We currently use ericsson RBS884 equiptment and at this time we are installing nokia equiptment(we have decided to diverg for our current technology and goto another so we are in essance installing a completely new and separate network that will run simultaneously) So when you refer to "99%" im not sure who you are thinking of. The terms "dual" and "tri" band are just marketing terms... You are correct in stating that differnt carriers use different "formats" It is dependent on the technology they chose to use for their systems. Buying a "single" phone as you put it will not let you roam on other carriers if they chose to use a different technology. These days even if two carriers are in the same area and use the same technology you STILL cant roam on their network, there is software built into the phones that do not allow them to do so. This may help explain a few things, or make you even more confused. Most people get a perplexed look on their face when you try and explain this.

Oh guess I should say I work for that lil' orange guy and I DONT know anything about the rate plans :D :D :D ... im not in sales! :)

Oh.. I am also in the Orlando market... This is what we run in this area.. I also know our company uses lucent equptment in other markets, But as far as I know Motorla does not produce base station equpitment for the technology's that we use.
