I believe I remember reading members having Mercury Props, like a bravo 1 4blade or something and using an aftermarket Lab finishing company like York and getting better numbers and it is cheaper.

Just kinda wondering why you are so set on Merc labbed props.

Mark

I have a set of York labbed 28P that I am happy with, but would like to try something different. With those 28's, I am all over the rev limiter (5200rpm). So I am pretty sure I can turn a set of labbed 30's around 4900 ish!????
(bone stock 28's turn 4900)

BTW: The York Labbed 28's that I have are for sale! Used only about 2 hours since I got them back from York. They are about perfect, and I NEED to sell them. Wife is on me about space in the garage!!

I know it's a long way....but there is always UPS......

Marine Propellor Warehouse, Longview Texas....903-753-7867.
Lab finish....$185.00
used by a former blown drag boat racer (Close Encounters) here and just did the props on a 33 Eliminator/ twin Paul Pfaff 1150's on it.

$185.00 sounds pretty cheap compared to Merc.:)

I sure would be interested in your props if the price is right. Sounds exactly what i need. What is the difference between york's and mercurys lab finishing?? Let me know.)

Bill, if two props are causing you space problems in the garage I'd forget the idea of getting bigger props and get a bigger garage!!;)

Maybe we'll see you over the Holidays! Hope things are going well for you...
