I love mine and feel very fortunate I got in when I got in. Can't wait to see these new rides painted and rigged !!!!!!!!

Are we knocking on the $300,000 door with the 400R's and $250,000 with the 300XS's ??

From my knowledge more like 200-250 not 250-300

From my first hand knowledge on quotes I have gotten and what I know others have been quoted your figures are a little low!
Good news for the used boat Skater market.

Hell yea! Keep cranking em out, Pete! Makes my chances of owning one some day a little better.

Think this is the right move for getting new boaters on the water. We have been saturated with 500,000-1,000,000 dollar boats for years now. 38' or bigger that goes for cat and V boats. The Industry has been big boats with high speed numbers now we are seeing the smaller stuff come back around. It's not a small boat and it has great numbers and a better price.

Either way, yikes. I guess you could say a 250k 28 skater is starter boat for the ones who can buy the 500-1M boats.

The 28 is an absolute blast to run!

And efficient, I get close to 4 mpg at 100 mph cruise, yes it cruises 50-60 miles at a time, at 100 mph.

How do you keep your gearcases together ? Dead serious

Good aftermarket seals for shaft and shift. Ck and change lower unit oil regularly.
Be decent on the throttles LOL

Change the merc water pump seal and shirt shaft seal to Todd D, billet seal carriers.change the oil every time you run it. No more problems. But most of us have spare gearcases just in case.

REM polishing is a big help. Lowers friction which lowers temps and better lubrication as well. All the go fast car and motorcycle racers do it to almost every rotating part, from NASCAR, Indy to F1. First pic is before and after.

pstorti, This polishing does not affect the gear lash. It is not too hard to remove the gear sets. Just need to protect the captive bearing on the gear when polishing. Then just put them back together.
