We're down to 1-3 inches forecast for Michigan.

SB 03-12-2017 07:51 PM

This was in a certain place in my state yesterday. :)

3/11/17
Max Wind Chill happened at 9:00 AM and was - 86.9F.
Max Wind gust happened at 3:00PM and was 115mph.

Plus,
Our local ice races where out running today.

My bay still has 20" thick ice near the middle.

I think that spring may be frozen to the ground for a little while.

Indy 03-12-2017 07:59 PM

We're' going to get dumped on...a great last weekend for skiing, and I gotta go to MD for an obligation :(

glassdave 03-12-2017 08:05 PM

I got rid of my plow truck today thinking we were outta the woods. . . . won't have new plow truck till after April first. . . . . . D'Oh! lol

I'm guessing your state in NH :D. . . . . . and that's a fairly typical day this time of year.

You're not alone. It's winter here now and we've been feeling a bit of a cold spell lately, especially night time.
:)

18" coming on Tuesday here. I love boating but it's much less painful to fill up the sled!!

tommymonza 03-12-2017 10:52 PM

This weather you guys got here in the North is Phucked up. I was just getting a good tan on sitting in my buddies Michigan driveway in my Speedo last week in 55 degree temps.

Now I don't dare go outside in it , because this Kind of Cold affects some of us a little differently.

thirdchildhood 03-13-2017 10:51 AM

I hope everyone out east is OK and stays warm. The snow should melt soon so hang in there.

caseyh 03-13-2017 12:59 PM

WOW !!!!

We (central NH) are basically in a hurricane (winds are nutz!) and have no idea where we are at snow wise, but no where near what you have.

Read about your little weather problem on the Australia news yesterday. Here's a couple of pics they showed of a house on Lake Ontario, just outside of Rochester.....

It sorta looks beautiful but I know it's the exact opposite if you live there.

Supposed to pull the Cig's out of heated indoor storage by April 1st. Just cleared all the snow piles from the driveway corners with the Deere last week so I could make the swing over the lawn. Looks like B reak - O ut - A nother - T housand for another month inside!

ICDEDPPL 03-15-2017 05:23 PM

Just got back our utilities today. Electric came back Sat afternoon.

We got hammered ! Like a bomb zone. People lost houses, trucks, boats, etc, etc.

Couldn't even get out of our road for days. But, we were lucky. Our House stayed together ....others not so lucky even within the neighborhood.
