OSO Screen Saver
If there is any interest in a screen saver I will build one. You can download a sample one with BatBoat pictures from my website at http://www.batboats.com/ or the original one from http://www.soulsoftware.com and try it out. If enough people post messages that they like the idea I will do the same with all OSO boats. You will all need to provide pictures of your boats as well as your favorite quotes. I especially like the Don Aronow quote somebody has as their signature.

How to send your images
Looks like we have some interest. You need to make the images 720 pixels wide x at most 480 pixels high, but the most important dimension is the 720 wide. You can put the quotes with the author, could be your handle, in a post to this thread. The way the program works is that it puts up a random picture and a random quote every 20 seconds unless you use the "P" key to change the settings.
You can send the images by using an ftp client, FTP Software (WS_FTP, CuteFTP)
http://www.ipswitch.com/ or http://www.cuteftp.com/products/cuteftp/index.shtml
go to ftp.batboats.com and use OSO (all capital letters) for both the user name and password. You will be able to upload files, but will not be able to see those that are there already.
Once I start making them I will post a message here about how you can add them to the screen saver and remove those you do not like.
