fuel gauge not working or he is almost out of gas - hmm if so sucking up the crap from the bottom of the fuel tank. And I am sure that gas tank bottom is not spotless.

and will bet the reason the flame arrestor is off cause he had to spray starting fluid down the carb to get the engine started in the first place ? what the odds I am correct about that one ?
