I have my 27/30' v bottom on an air dock works great Air Docks customer support is A+ , they will have a tech in the phone while you install , it's been through 3 New York winters stays in all year round no complaints can't beat the 4-5k $ price,

When the lift is deflated, does it sink enough where you could back over it and the drives would clear?

looking at their website I can probably get a smaller set-up but still $5300 US...shipped/duties/exchange...I'll end at 9kish

The drives on the boat never position on the lift...so the answer is yes but the drive is never in a position that it has to clear the bag system the drive acts as a stop , boat never advanced far enough to be on the bag

There is a small inner chamber that has a little air to keep the bag right at the surface.
