Turbojack,

About 790lbs. of torque @ 3800rpm. Had between 740-790 at all low rpms. We made one pull at 2000 and it still had over 680lbs. of torque. With a screw compressor, boost doesn't "come in". Full throttle run, it had almost 12lbs. at 3000 rpm and 14 @ 6000. It had 11.5 lbs. @ 2000 rpm. Motor idles at 4-6 inches of vacuum @ 700 rpm. This is also with a 3" collector on the exhaust on our dyno which I'm sure is restricting compared to the 4" in the boat. 14lbs. will live with 92 octane on this engine. Made 770hp/760trq with 12lbs.

Nice, What CR are you running? about 8.5?

406CID x 1.08HP/CID= 440HP N/A x 1+12/16boost= 770HP!

Shah Mat, Thanks, I am not sure of the exact final bore and Stroke.

Dustin may know???

Cobra, I know it was in the 8's but I will ask Dustin what it is.

We went thru so many setups I don't know what we ended up with.

The compression is near 8.25 and it's running 14lbs to make 811 hp.

Thanks,
Dustin

That motor sounds great.I am purchasing some Troy Dennis Blower small Blocks.Donavan Aluminum Blocks,Brodix Heads with Titanium Valves and Jessel Rocker shafts,Callies Rods,Ross Pistons,Billet crank, roller cam,Dry Sump Oil system.B&M Megablowers and twin Holleys. At 9lbs and 92 Octane they got 785hp and I cannot remeber the TQ.But I am going to run 5lbs most of the time(except for Poker runs)for longevity. They will go in my 32 Maelstrom cat with Kaama surface drives. It should run like a scalded dog.Well at least I hope so.

Cat and Mice,
I will have to look for some pictures I may have some but I do not know how to post them but can send them to your private email.I found this boat and it had taken on water in the engine compartment.I totally stripped it out and redid the drives and new 502 twin disc trannys.I had a pair of small blocks about 400hp a piece but I knew that they would not be strong enough but I put them in anyway.Boat rides great.I really put them in just to work otu system bugs which I did.Now all I have to do is drop these in and hook them up.I may have to do some trimming on the engine hatch to fit the stellings, but oh well.
