Yeah, what Audiofin said. Superchillers and 5# boost pulleys put my friends 42 Fountain way up the scale. Downside was 2 destoyed XR drives in 3 weeks time. The horsepower boost is easy, keeping the drives together is the tough part.

Spine Tickler has Whipple Intercoolers added to his. Offshore-performance.com did all the work, with very good results.

You could take the blower and injection system off, install our 3.3L unit with intercooler and new inectors and make 750+.

Thanks,
Dustin

...always the salesman

Dustin,
Does the 575 SCEFI use throttle body injection, port injection, or both? Went for a rinde this summer on a 42 OL with triple 575's and I was very impressed. Ran pretty rich, but I guess its better to be safe than sorry.

Looking forward to seeing you guys at SEMA next month. Got quite a few "upgrade" ideas I would like to run by you.

The 575 is Throttle body injected.

Dustin that would break my heart to take apart a $50,000 575SC.
Better to sell the 575's complete and built a 540 with your system.

Dustin will you ever be selling a complete 3.3l with computer, harness, fuel pump etc to go on my 509 or 540 engine. You seem to sell the supercharger stuff but not the electronics to make it all work. How about a complete 540 ready to go built by you and Pfaff. Just drop in or add your accessories and go.
A built 540 with 8 pounds boost would make about 900HP!

The easiest and cheapest thing you can do is add smaller blower pulleys. For just a couple hundred bucks we juiced up our 575's to 650 HP. We made the upgrade in the middle of the summer and experienced no problems. Another guy on our lake did the same and he's very pleased with the outcome as well. With the increased HP, it may be necessary to remap the ECM's to avoid hitting the rev limiter.

I have gotten from AZ Speed &Marine two new ECU's which they claim will increase the boost by 1lb. and probably give me another 45hp per side. They will also allow the engine to rev. to 57-5800rpm. I have had them for several months but the motors have been running so well that I have been too chicken to try them. Anybody out there had any experience with these?
