wow.....haven't seen that boat in years! LOL
And his name on the card is "Jeffy"???? |
Jeff has been hauling boats again for the last two years. He paid his price going to jail unlike everyone else in this case both in Texas and New York who never did one day. He paid a heavy price in his wife divorcing him and losing his business. Life goes on.

:poopoo: hahahahahaahahahaha
|
card shark disappeared but AOL didn't? Who'd have known......
|
I met Jeff at Haulover ramp before a poker run. Seemed like a nice guy with a clean rig. Guy did his time and certainly didn't steal a boat out of the blue. This was a multiple party theft but it did start with Jeff.
At least he has a sense of humor about the stolen boat....... |
Jeff
I have been using Jeff for at least 14 years and has picked up and delivered several of my boats over the years and always done a great job including the last 3 days. Inspected and picked up a
new to me boat in Texas on Sunday and Monday and delivered it back here by 7:30PM today. |
I am not a big fan of his. When I had my HTM and had issues he acted like he had some pull or ownership with them. He proved to just be blowing smoke and then attacked me when I pointed out real issues with the boat.
|
He was also recently representing himself as an owner/dealer in the Spectre boat company on OSO and created a new OSO screen name.
He was banned again. |

I just used Jeff to haul my boat from Oklahoma to Massachusetts it was the best experience I have had with a boat hauler stayed in contact the whole trip I realize he did something stupid years ago he did his time (the only one who did time) I'm a firm believer in 2nd chances
|
I can see a phone call going something like this.
Boat Owner: Yes, my boat was stolen and I'd like to make a claim. Insurance Company: OK, when the was the last time you saw it. Boat Owner: When I gave it to a convicted boat thief to transport it. Boat Owner: Hello? Hello? |
^^^And What would your insurance do ? ^^^^
|
I don't know this guy, don't even know the story. But knowing what I do, (somehow involved in a missing boat), I would never hire him to tow anything, not even my garbage.

Where have you been? Hes been doing this for the last couple of years.. and why do you care?
|
I have know Jeff for 16 years now and know exactly what happen in Texas. Last month I purchased a boat from the east coast and needed it transported to the west coast and Jeff was the first guy that came to mind. Jeff inspected the boat, took trailer down and had 6 tires put on and kept in touch with me through the whole trip.
Jeff went above and beyond my expectations and I would refer him to anyone. |

I had never seen that article till today. Yes, a lot of familiar names in there. Nutz !
|
Yeah, In my experience, once a criminal/thief always a criminal.......
Nobody has mentioned his previous arrests for marijuana smuggling and cocaine possesion. I can't wait til another boat goes bye bye........ |

Whatever happened to the Cropper boys?
|
I store my boat next door to Leon's shop. Looks pretty slow around there when I've passed by for the last few years. My current mechanic went there fresh out of school years ago and ended up leaving.....something about a crook....
|
Would you let a convicted child molester babysit your kid? Just sayin'...
|
I am surprised he can get insurance given the record. Most bona fide insurance companies won't insure a felon who is in the same field he was convicted.

Honesty with how many shady fu$ks there are in the boating world this thread probably did help his business.

Paul,
Didn't you befriend BgChubby due to the fact you believe you have an axe to grind with Leon over a motor from years ago? Surely you feel the same amount of dislike for the rest of the players mentioned in the news article, just funny you never mention their names. :picard1: Oh well, carry on making those 540 shooter bullets in the "magic room". |
