I needed some of my "ideas" for the Skater turned into reality and had some powder coating work as part of it. I reached out to Tzrider(Paul) here on OSO and explained my needs.

Not only did he understand, he basically told me to "trust him" and go relax. While I can't quite show you the results yet, suffice to say he not only did what I wanted but did it better and cooler than I asked for.

If you need anything done maybe give a shot to a fellow member and boater. His company is Southeast Coating and Fabrication. They are in Pompano Beach Fla but can ship worldwide.

Maybe he will chime in here and tell you about his work without spilling my suprises.

I also had Paul (tzrider) power-coated the new Stainless Marine Manifolds on Hot For Teacher. His work is outstanding and prices are very reasonable. I'll post pictures of the work he did for me soon.

Cash, Lucky, Noli.. Thank you for the compliments, I have a great staff that really pay attention to details and will not under any conditions cut corners. Our powder coating plant came to be from neccessity, as some of you know we are a full service fabrication, machining and coating facility. We are certified welders, we have a 5x10 CNC Plasma table, CNC tube rollers and benders, a brand new Hurco vm20i cnc mill and vm8i cnc lathe along with iron workers, punch presses, notchers etcc etcc. We manufacture 86 automotive part numbers along with a few as a tier 2 supplier to Chrysler/Fiat. Powder coating is something we used to out source however quality was always an issue so we brought it in house, we are certified applicators for Prisamatic Powder, NorteK coatings as well as Axalta (formerly DuPont) and PlasCoat. As a side note I powder coated the air cleaners then airbrushed and cleared over it. If you have parts that have been painted and you'd like something powder coated to match we can usually get color matched powder within 72 hours. We can also clear powder coat over paint if you need a really durable finish, pc clear can also be wet sanded and buffed

Good to know! I'll be hitting you up next time I need some parts powdercoated. Are you guys able to polish parts to clean them up prior to coating?

Tomorrow 44. Absolutely, everything we receive goes through pretreatment for the best possible finish, sometimes it's simply stripping, outgassing prime and spray and other times parts require welding/filling, sanding etc. We have the advantage of being a fully equipped metal fabrication and machine shop allowing us the ability to do more then most. Awesome thats great! I've used another powdercoater that just coats the product however it comes in. Your shop is right by my wife's work, I'll stop in sometime.
