Newport/Long Beach boat launch

i hopfully will be boating in the ocean soon, 35 years of Havasu boating but ready for a change. Is there a place that sling launches boats around here? Seems like the east coast is filled with them, a lot of offshore boats I look at are on steel trailers.

Theres one in Redando (link below). I had a friend years ago launching out of Marina Del Rey where they used a crane, but can't remember where that was anymore. The east coast (at least in FL) charge $150-200 each way to haul your boat on and off the trailer, so not a viable option for a day of boating. A better place to ask this question would be on riverdavesplace.com.

I launch at the Newport Dunes marina. There is also the 2nd st public launch in Long Beach and Huntington harbor launch. There is a launch ramp off the 710 freeway before the Queen Mary.
Dana point has a nice launch ramp also.
