What kind of condition is lake Cumberland in?

I have a family vacation planned there in about 45 days and the stuff I'm seeing online isn't looking good. Lots of debris floating, looks pretty bad. Any idea how long it takes for it to straighten up after a heavy rain event?

Was there this weekend lake is at 723' and still raising. Lots of debris. Should be fine in 45 days. I will say the water clarity is better than normal.

I just got home from there and yes there is a lot of debris but as he said you should be fine. Once the lake starts to drop and you get a couple windy days it will be in good shape.

We just need it to be clean in a week and a half for the Thunder Run! (our) Lake Barkley was trashed on Saturday, as well. More so than I've seen in quite a while.

There's just no where for the debris to go with the lake so high. Pretty bad this weekend - we couldn't run.

Memorial weekend ended up being pretty nice, hopefully they start dropping it here soon.

Its like this every year this time. We have been down the last few weeks and its clear in some places and trashed in others. It will be fine in a few weeks.
