last pic.

The 28' has an 8' foot beam and is a true 28' to the transom without platform. The cockpit holds 6 passengers comfortable.

We mount aluminum powdercoated swim platforms upon request.

That 28' is a damn nice boat. Really nice. I'm anxious to find out how it does on Thursday's ocean trial. In particular, top speed and also cruising speed at 3,500 or 4,000 rpm's.

BTW rtaylor...
Don't only look at top end performance, look at how that thing handles in rough water at speed.

I don't have time to make a chart but here is my input:
My favorite boat is the Superboat 30y2k.
My second favorite is the Pantera 28 with twins
third favorite Sonic 31.

Superboat: The price is the best of all the manufacturers. It looks awesome just sitting in the water. Performance is excellent. I can tow it with my Yukon. 31'-7" length at only 5000 pounds. WOW!Weighs even less with lightwieght hull option. I can add any option I want to the boat. Construction quality is excellent. You can get into this boat for 49k with the 496 375hp merc. Or HP500 race ready for 91k. Overall, I keep coming back to this boat.

Pantera: need I say more. This is a rugid offshore boat with a quality cabin and cockpit. Quality is excellent, Price is a little higher than Superboat.

Sonic 31: Great boat. huge cabin! great performance with twins but a pricey boat.

I have chosen this list based on Price, looks, performance, and family comfort. I love all performance boats in this size range. In fact they are all really close. But these are the standouts in my book.

Don't shoot me, these are just my opinions only, and based on no scientific evidence what so ever!

Corrado,

We lower the cockpit floor approximately 6 inches. The angled footrest and the rubber padding are all incorporated into the lowered section of the cockpit liner.

We put standard on every boat the best parts for rough water abuse. For Example : custom K- planes with Pantera logos embosed into them, solid race motor mounts, ( 2 ) custom made race battery boxes, Gaffrig instrumentation with colored bezels, race throttles w/ trim switch, Pirelli flooring, cockpit cover, 4 blade prop,
indicator panel, through transom exhaust, custom Pantera embroidery, just to name a few "standard" parts that come on each boat.

Complete 28' with a single 496 HO - 425 HP Mercruiser package will price out in the $ 79,000 range complete.

We offer alot of boat for the Money.

Regards,

JO
