Like Chuck said

Like Chuck said, the drive was hangin by the steering cylinders & the tie bar. It was ugly.

But hey, this winter while we're standin around the shop, drinkin beer, and bench racin, we'll have another" You should have seen it" story !

We were out in Anchor Bay kinda between Mac & Rays entrance, and the Belle Marre entrance, but far enough out. Maybe something was just in the water below the surface.

Ya just never know.

Hey Chuck,
Sorry to here about the boat, but glad you guys didn't get hurt. You never can tell about hitting something even when you think you are running in safe water. I trashed my Bravo last hear in the Detroit River in 40 f*%$ing feet of water. I guess you just chalk it up to one of those things.

Did you guys launch from Selfridge? Me and my son were out on the bay Saturday doing some last day blasts and were definately in that area. I hope I wasn't the boat you were coming to race.
give me a call tommarrow.

Larry, Where have you been? Are you going to pull the engine ?

The engine problem in that Formula ended up being the #8 exh cam lobe, Other than that they look pretty good so far.......Sam Gianino originally did the engines and they have some good stuff in them. Stop by.

I just talked to a buddy of mine.He thinks he saw you guys, was the boat you wanted to run a white cat?

Whiteknuckle 10-15-2002 08:24 AM

Lee,
Where have I been? I've been working my ass off and some committments. No, the engine in staying in the boat this winter. Actually, its running good, just lacks the top end. I think I'll get a 800 CFM Holley and try that in the spring. Stop by some evening. I would still like to get together with you and Chuck at the Sugerbush some evening.

The answer to your question was yes. Lenny was going after the cat when that happened.......................

Just outta curiosity, what kind of cat was it ? And what kind of power did it have ? If I recall correctly, it may have had scoops.

26scarab 10-15-2002 08:52 AM

Burns,
yes the boat we were after was a white cat. How fast is it ?

Whiteknuckle,
Yes, we launched from Selfridge I did see a Sunsation off in the distance, I don't know the colors of your boat so I don't know if it was you.
I see , you guys want to go to Sugarbush so you can stumble home and i have to drive half way across the city to get home !!:D
