Looking for a go fast boat 20-30g's
 

Is it me or did the market tighten ? Used boats nowadays seem to be ridiculously priced. My dream boat is a Howard 28' sport deck. I was hoping to get an 08-10 for 30-40g's but looks like that's not possibly now. Perhaps in winter ? Here are my requirements 2002 or newer, 22-27' stepped or cat hull with 8' beam 496 HO or 525 that can hit 70 knots. This boat will be used in Texas lakes.

yes the market has tightened especially in boats less then ten years old or so. Stems from the lack of production over that time frame, no one was really building anything as the economy kinda did its thing . . . .

I remember in 2001 dad bought a brand new Jupiter 31 w/ twin Yamaha 250's on POS Armstrong bracket loaded for 110k. That same boat is 270k now !!!

Go fast is a relative term. What real top speed in MPH are you wanting to get to ?

75-80mph

Bought my 97 Donzi 22 classic excellent shape with 454 /bravo 270 hrs with trailer for $23,500 in 2006.

Wish I met your requirements of year and top speed. 16,500 for a 97 271 FASTech HP500. (509 now 33 hours on motor).

I know your looking for a newer boat but I've got a beautiful red and white 1994 Warlock 28 SXT cat with twin 502 mags in it for 30k. I bought the boat from the original owner last year and haven't ran it much. Runs 83mph on the 26p props but I just bought brand new 28p props for her. The whole boat is in GREAT condition. Just thought I'd throw it out there.
