The Ole' monday damage report
I had a wedding Saturday and lousy weather Sunday but saw a friend of mine Sunday afternoon who was out just long enough to pop one of his 468's. Started running bad ...stopped and found an oil slick behind him...checked oil...looked like a milkshake:eek:. Seems to be just a headgasket:rolleyes: Well he was coming out this weekend anyway.

I'm pleased to report:
Another successful weekend with -ZERO- problems or failures. :D
(Didn't use the boat.) |
I melted a gil manifold this weekend, Hopefully didnt hurt the motor but dont know for sure yet.

Towed the F233 1,399 miles from St Louis to Marathon key just to have the upper gear set break up again in the first 2 hours out. This will be the 4th time this summer damn stringer drive:(

Havent pulled it a part yet but I had several hours of towing it home to ponder my lack of forward propultion
Im pretty sure its a drive shaft  Thanks to OTTIS311 we were still able to maintain a 40+ mph cruise with out a drive :p |
Well I had just one fouled plug , other than that the season ended good.
My friend on the other hand did not have it so lucky. Gimble ring Transom assy. (or whatever the outside part is called) U joint assy. prop |
