Thank you. What really kicks me in the nads is when I log in here and the list of threads pops up and one is "Took apart a perfectly good running boat". I refuse to open it even though it seems to have a ton of traffic. LOL

Your in good company so don't sweat it...

Yep, you know better than most and were probably far more stressed than I have been. Great outcome though.

Yes, I wish I would have put Merc 700s in my project. What I thought was a deal at the time, ended up costing about as much as the package, or more when you factor in all the missed boating with no return of pleasure. What can a pair of 700s be had for?

Last new set that I saw for sale, PBC had them listed at 40k each.

What are the diamond shaped vents in the tailpipes?

Water exits for the tail pipes. Looking at the pics, the tail pipes go all the way through the transom.

Getting down to the wire but the tailpipes showed up and the interior going back in. Brand X has had all three guys on this since the parts showed up. Can't ask for anymore than that.

Stainless Marine did a great job on the pipes. The Smartcraft is run through the Garmin now. We hope to fire them off tomorrow.

What diameter Tails did you go with??

Right before the hatches went back on yesterday. The front seats and dash are all set and gauges work.

Sea l was this morning and Jason said she ran great in some rough water here. Now for a wash/flush and she's on the road. We are headed to the airport. See you at LOTO.

So the boat made it to LOTO on Wed afternoon. About 120 miles on the new power so far and another 150-200 before the weekend ends. Here are two short vids of the running so far.

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 06:50 PM.
