They will remain the same for now but I will get a new idea for them by this winter when the whole boat will get touched up and re-cleared. Trying to do things in an order that will minimize downtime and missed boating opportunities.

Piece of cake actually. Modern electronics that manage these big HP fuel injected motors resolve all the idle elements quite nicely. I am geared at 1.29 with 40 pitch 5 blades and they never die going in and out of gear. Actually is quite civil.

Today's progress. The bilges are cleaned up and the boat is moving into the Brand X paint shop. The extra holes in the bilge will be filled and painted so it doesn't look like it was in a Miami Vice shootout.
The air system for when the boat had crash boxes has been removed.

The 700s are getting some love like moving the starter from the bottom for ease of access. That way even a mechanically challenged person like me can change it on the fly should it be necessary. Also changing it to a 1075-style starter. They will also be getting the Merc blue redone in silver to match the boat better.
