Default 29 Active Thunder O/B........................?

Who has spent anytime or ridden on one of these? We are mostly river boaters with occasional trips to "bigger" water and these look appealing in the pics. I've been on/around a bunch of 37's so I know those and the AT reputation well.

I have not but the owner of the 35 is on here and I know that has seen a lot of gulf action.

32-33 then I guess.

It's certainly not a 29....the one from Ft. Myers area that is red/white/tan

one in the middle.....never seen it in person but friends with a family member of it, so sorry if I butchered the exact size of it.




Not sure why the pic wont load but it is rather new as well and the other family is also AT owners from the Ft. Myers area as well.

The 33 would be perfect but I know the price is outside my comfort level. We had a 38 Formula and now a 21 CC (among many other boats previous to these)......Just getting the itch for something bigger I can use occasionally AND justify if it sits for a few weeks while I'm off doing other things.

I've got a simalar one sitting in my barn in Michigan

A few weeks ago, I got out a tape measure to figure out why a 33' was taking uo so much room in the barn. From trailer tongue to props its 44''6". The boat alone bow to props is darn near 38'

If you need to free up some barn space to complete a project or something, I'll take your 33' out for the day. I'll even use your tow vehicle so you have extra barn space that day. Coincidentally, my nominal charge for this service is far cheaper than building a bigger barn.

I visited AT while they were building the first 29 OB. We all know the quality. What impressed me is how versatile the layout is for both the closed and open bow. You can customize the interior seating layout from helm to transom. A ton of usable space in the cockpit. I wanted an open bow which wasn't ready at the time so I went a different route but I would definitely give Patrick a call or visit. Good luck.
