The focus on where the market is, CC's and outboard power, will hopefully pay the bills and keep the lights on. The sportboats will only comeback with a thriving economy, loan/financing availability, and discretionary income levels return. The likes of 35/38 lightnings with mild power may never come back at the current pricing even with Reggie in house.

I'm happy to see the move. Would like to see Fountain make a strong comeback as well as Donzi. I find it weird that Baja isn't being focused more on the Islander line vs. the Outlaw. These days it's the pontoon, center console and the big bowrider that seem to be the big movers. I just don't see people buying 23 & 26 Outlaws due to the limited practicality. Todays consumer wants space & amenities.

Default Fishing boat for Me

Yeah, Yeah love the go fast 33 ft Fountain I have (30.5 foot nose to transom and 2.5 ft aluminum swim platform), with 540 BBC's but as soon as I start getting my Gov Check (Old Man), would like to have one of these new 38's or 42 fish boat. Have a 20.5 fish boat now but it can only reach one spot that is 60 ft deep close to me. 24 miles out, the BIG fish are at least 40-60 miles out and need a twin at least or a triple to be safe out that far. Can't hardly wait!! By the time I'm ready to get one of these, the new 2018's will be 5 years old and will fit nicely into my desired priceline, even if I have to repower within a year or two. I will surely miss the speed and sound of the BBC's at 5500 rpm, but I want to fish more than just go fast racing everybody I see.
