Backup camera
Hello,
I have been thinking about this for a long time. I think it's a great idea. lou |
I have one on my trailer and it's great. Mine is hard wired though.
are the camera's submersible?
I was thinking the same thing, or do you take it off at the ramp.
The ones in my link are IP60whatever rated. So yes, thats what got me thinking.
Why is it needed on a trailer other than backing up to a fence, wall or other barrier? Maybe I need it and don't even know it.

I just think its a large blind spot behind the trailer when traveling |

the second number is for liquids in this case its a 0 so there is NONE! .....meaning it shouldn't even be out in the rain for the most part when looking at IP ratings you would need, at a minimum, a rating of IP67 or IP68 to be used in a submersible situation... |
