Oh good grief, one of the originals and a great member, contribued a lot to the forum over the years.

My thoughts to his wife, family, and friends.

Thanks Brian. I am still in a state of shock. We had them over for dinner Friday night and he was his usual jovial self. This is a huge loss for a lot of folks especially his family. I posted this on my FB page, but unfortunately the picture did not copy in:

My heart aches!! Lost my best friend yesterday. We have been boating brothers ever since he moved across the cove from me in Alanton when we were 12. We went from bopping around Linkhorn Bay in our little sciffs to running the Chesapeake Bay in our go-fasts of various styles and configurations. Bill always liked to be the fastest. But we finally grew up and decided nice old quick center consoles were just fine for us seasoned mariners. Bills generosity is what endeared him to SO many people. His skill and ingenuity at fixing things (damn near anything) was a gift he gave freely to his friends. My wife took this pic of Bill and Cindy two weekends ago during one of our weekly outings to Dockside...our favorite haunt. Classic Rip! RIP my brother! Attachment 570412

Sorry for this and to his family. It is shocking today as it seems many guys in their 40's thru 60 's passing on. Heart related problems seem to be a very common concern in these age brackets for men. .
